The Studio

Our Studio, located in the beautiful seaside suburb of Largs Bay, comprises an Equipment room complete with our beautiful Australian made, hand crafted Pilates Equipment.

Our Mat room is set up so our clients can attend their classes without needing to bring anything to class. Mats are provided and we use a range of small equipment to guarantee your mat class will never be boring or repetitive.

The studio is air conditioned for your comfort and we incorporate Kindred Self essential oils, music and mindfulness techniques into each class. All we ask is that you bring your own socks to wear to class.

Chantell Murphy - Owner

Chantells’ passion for Pilates arose out of her own experiences of it’s benefits, dealing with years of chronic back pain following an injury whilst nursing. After trying everything she eventually began practising Pilates and has not had any episodes of back pain since. That was 15 years ago!

Quickly developing a passion for Pilates, she undertook the teacher training at Queen Street Pilates Studio under Leanne Mollison and obtained the nationally recognised Diploma of Pilates Therapy and Instruction in 2009. Since then she has been privileged to work with a wide variety of clients, from the vision impaired to elite athletes, working with the Port Power players. Chantell has enjoyed working closely with Physiotherapists to gain a thorough understanding of a wide range of injuries and rehabilitation practices. Chantell continually attends further education sessions and is a member of the APMA.

Chantell is a Cancerian and has three 3 Children and a lovely dog called Daisi who regularly attends the Studio! Daisi is a Capricorn and loves to run but is equally happy on her spot or out the front in the sunshine at the studio. Daisi greets people as they enter the studio and enjoys all the love and special attention!

Zana Suica

Zana’s first encounter with Pilates was in 2004 post baby #2. She connected with moving the Pilates way so much that whilst working as an occupational therapist she completed her Diploma Level Pilates teacher training and was teaching mat and equipment classes by the end of 2009.

Zana loves to share her passion of movement with all her clients and enjoys facilitating the achievement of her clients goals. Being a part of their Pilates journey, and seeing the positive impact outside of the studio is such an honour.

Zana’s love of movement has seen her complete a Cert IV in fitness and level 1 Animal Flow which has brought interest and challenge to her classes.

Beyond the studio you can find Zana hiking trails, on her bike or snuggled up with a good book.

Favourite in studio quotes: This one is Fun! This is my favourite! You’ll love this!
